INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

The OFFICE OF THE OMBUDSMAN (VISAYAS) REGIONAL OFFICE VI,, thru its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites all interested and legitimate contractors to apply for eligibility and submit bids for the supply of labor, tools/equipment and necessary supplies in performing and rendering the following services for the Office of the Ombudsman (Visayas) located at the 2nd Floor, CAP Building, General Luna Street, Iloilo City.

FOR THE CONTRACT

I. SECURITY SERVICES P 589,491.00

Three (3) Security Guards for 7 days a week

One (1) Lady Guard for 5 days a week

In order to qualify for participation in the public bidding, the bidders should conform to the eligibility criteria as prescribed under Section 23 of the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act No. 9184, as per GPPB Resolution No. 03-2009, approved on 22 July 2009.

Eligibility requirements and bid forms, tender documents and request for quotation shall be available at the BAC Secretariat, Office of the Ombudsman (Visayas) C/o Jeanzen Magallanes Tel . No. (033) 509-4655, within the government prescribed office hours,uponpayment of non-refundable fee of One Thousand Pesos only (P 1,000.00).

All particulars relative to the eligibility process, bidding, evaluation of bids, post-qualification and award of contract shall be governed by the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations of R.A. 9184, otherwise known as the Government Procurement Reform Act, as per GPPB Resolution No. 03-2009.

The Bids and Awards Committee of the Office of the Ombudsman (Visayas) reserves the right to reject any of all bids, to waive any defect or informality therein and assumes no obligation whatsoever to compensate indemnify to the bidders any expenses that the bidder may incur in the preparation of bids and to accept the offer most advantageous to the government.

This Invitation to Apply for Eligibility and to Bid is posted at Phil.GEPS and Ombudsman websites, and at the bulletin board of the Office of the Ombudsman (Visayas) Regional Field Office No. VI, 2nd Floor, CAP Building, General Luna Street, Iloilo City.
