Mediapolis Education Foundation Scholarships

The following scholarships are available through the Mediapolis Education Foundation. Please read the descriptions of scholarships and check the ones for which you would like to apply. Then, complete the application and return it to the counseling office byApril 26. You will only be considered for the scholarships that are checked.

(Note many of these scholarships are based on yields from investments. Amounts listed are based on previous performances and may vary)

Mediapolis Education Foundation

($1000) Two seniors (1 male & 1 female) atMediapolis Community High School planning to continue their education at the post-secondary level.

Mediapolis Education Foundation

($1000) Two seniors at Mediapolis Community High School. Qualifications include: plan to attend a community college or technical school andhave a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Special consideration may be given to students who have participated in Career Technical Education courses through Mediapolis Schools.

The Anonymous Scholarship

($500) Four seniors (2 male, 2 female) at Mediapolis Community High School. Qualifications include: plan to attend a 2 or 4 year college or technical school in the fall.

MTC Technologies

($1000) Two seniors at Mediapolis Community High School who have a GPA of 2.5 or better after 7 semesters. Student or parent must be a subscriber of MTCTechnologies.

($250) Awarded to one female student who is interested in a business career.

($500) One Mediapolis senior who shows academic potential and financial need.

($1250) Two seniors (1 male, 1 female) at Mediapolis Community High School, who demonstrate financial need, show academic potential, and who have been active in bettering theircommunity and school.

Ellen Hutchcroft Memorial

($1500) One Mediapolis graduate, who plans to pursue a career in education.

Geraldine Wickhart

($1000) Two scholarships awarded to a Mediapolis Community High School graduate who has a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and plans to enroll at a post-secondary institution pursuing a career in nursing. Scholars must have verification of enrollment from the post-secondary school.

Sharon K. Saurini

($2500/year) Awarded to a Mediapolis Community High School graduate who has a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and plans to enroll in a post-secondary animal science or pre-veterinary program.

($5000/year minimum) Awarded to a Mediapolis Community High School graduate who plans to enroll in a graduate program pursuing a career as a veterinarian, with preference given to female students. Scholars must be enrolled in 12 credit hours of graduate coursework or more and maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

(The annual number of Sharon K Saurini scholarships will be based on the number of applicants and funding availability)
