O Come, Let Us Sing Unto the LORD: Let Us Make a Joyful

Call to Worship – Psalm 95:1-7

O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful

noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before

his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful

noise unto him with psalms.

For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all

gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth:

the strength of the hills is his also. The sea is his, and

he made it: and his hands formed The dry land.

O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel

before the LORD our maker. For he is our God; and we

are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his

hand. Today if ye will hear his voice.

RESPONSIVE READIng – genesis 42:1-5 (NKJV)

min: When Jacob saw that there was grain in Egypt,

Jacob said to his sons, "Why do you look at one

another?"

con: And he said, "Indeed I have heard that there is

grain in Egypt; go down to that place and buy

for us there, that we may live and not die."

MIN: So Joseph's ten brothers went down to buy grain

in Egypt.

Con: But Jacob did not send Joseph's brother Benjamin

with his brothers, for he said, "Lest some cala-

mity befall him."

ALL: And the sons of Israel went to buy grain among

those who journeyed, for the famine was in the

land of Canaan.

Keep in Mind genesis 45:8 (NKJV)

“So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God:

and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and

lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout

all the land of Egypt”
