There will be a lunch available at the trial site for $5.00

Lunch break will be at the judge’s discretion.

10 min/20 participants will be allowed for competitors to walk the course prior to trial except for C-stream and team events where the walkthrough is 3 minutes for 10-12 participants/teams.

Please Note: Food or toys MUST be in the RIGHT-HAND POCKET of the handler, OUT OF SIGHT. NO TREAT/BAIT BAGS. NO ACTIVE TOYS (clickers/lasers/squeak toys/etc)

To keep the event running smoothly, all competitors will be expected to keep track of the running order and to be in the ‘on deck’ area prior to your run.

ALL DOGS COMPETING MUST BE REGISTERED WITH CARO TO COMPETE. REGISTRATION FORMS ARE AVAILABLE AT www.canadianrallyo.ca AND MUST BE SUBMITTED TO CARO BEFORE THE TRIAL OR ACCOMPANY YOUR ENTRY.

REGISTERING YOUR DOG WITH CARO IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. UNLESS YOU ARE SUBMITTING YOUR DOGS REGISTRATION WITH YOUR ENTRY, YOU MUST SHOW YOUR DOGS REGISTRATION CARD AT THE TRIAL.

Facilities:

-This is an indoor facility in Prince Albert. Limited space for crating indoors is available and there are washrooms and water on site. Take advantage of our $5 lunch or bring your own, there are also multiple grocery stores and restaurants within a five minute drive.

-All dogs must be crated, in an ex-pen, or on leash when not in the ring. Any dog engaging in aggressive behavior at any time will be required to leave the trial grounds. We ask that all dogs be exercised on-leash outside across from the building or in the enclosed exercise area two barns down.

-All children must be supervised by a parent NOT competing in the trials.

-Anyone observed not picking up after their dog will be excused and will forfeit any entry fees.

-An officiating judge, and/or the chairperson of the trial, may dismiss from the trial site any person subjecting the judge or members of the organizing committee to abuse, whether that person is competing in the trial or not.

-Anyone observed disciplining their dog in a manner that offends a judge’s sensibilities will be excused and will forfeit entry fees.

Trial Information

Trial held under CARO rules and regulations. CARO recognized and approved.

Awards

Ribbons will be awarded to each dog/handler team achieving a score of 170 or better. There will be a high in trial award, a team spirit award, a highest scoring veteran award, and a spontaneous behavior award each day

Rally Obedience Description

For a complete description of the Rally rules, regulations, performance guidelines, explanation of exercises, etc go to www.canadianrallyo.ca You must be familiar with all of the Rally-O exercise signs prior to the event. Go to the CARO website to find a detailed explanation of each of the exercise signs and have fun practicing them with your dog.

Competitors, through submission of entry, acknowledge that they are knowledgeable of and will abide by CARO Rally Obedience rules and regulations. A copy of CARO Official Rules and Regulations may be obtained at www.canadianrallyo.ca

Trial Site Location

The trial will be held at #700 Exhibition Drive in the Archie Anderson Pavilion. Once you are through the iron gates turn right, it is the second barn in.
