Who did this! WHO DID THIS! ”My pretty but mean 3rd grade teacher Ms.Roman yelled. Ms.Roman was your average blue-eyed blonde. “If one of you doesn’t confess, that means you are going to flip your card to the RED CARD!" she said to the whole class. "Gasp!" the whole class said, either under breath or out loud.Geez,I thought, what is she talking about?

I remember on the first day of third grade, she was so welcoming and nice and warm inside. She said, “Good Morning class! I am so excited for this year! I know that we are going to have some third grade fun!” she said with a jaw-crushing smile that probably hurt for a while.

Wow she is nice,I thought, she seems way different than Mrs. McHugh.

She explained about the chart. In our third grade class we had a chart; all the kids in Ms. Roman's classwere on the chart. And each student had a card, you were either good with a Green card, or you were one mistake off of good with a Yellow card, and you were totally bad with the Red Card. Not only were you bad and got in trouble with your teacher, but you also, had to go the Principal's Office.

I saw Howard, a kid in our class, who was the class thief, looking very sad, moping exactly. Small tears trickled down his pale face. What’s wrong with him?

I thought, with a confused look on my face. “Who wrote the on Howard's desk!? Who put the stickers on Howard's desk!?" she yelled once more.

Man I wish she stopped yelling at us! I thought to myself. I really want to actually learn something today. What am I supposed to say when my mom asks me, "What did youlearn today Karrington?" I don't just want to say nothing or the occasional, "Stuff!"

I started looking around the room, and playing with my fingers manically. "Karrington!" boomed Ms. Roman. I jumped like a Kangaroo in my seat.” Did you do it?!” she questioned me. My mind went blank; I didn't know what to say. What do I say? I thought. “I...." I trailed off. “So that means you did it!" A shot of frisson shot up my spine. I started to stutter. “I diddn't ... I can't..... Wasn’t me!" I yelped. “GET UP!!" Ms. Roman shouted. “Now!" I didn't get up; I just sat there with my mouth in the shape of the letter "O”. "Ms. Roman, I swear, I didn't do it! Please don't make me flip my card!" I said with a sad face.

“Fine then, but I'll figure out who did it, and whoever did it, is in SERIOUS trouble!" The class had their hands gripping the desk’s edges hard.Woo! I thought, that was really close.

Jack Reinhart was trembling and shaking. Everybody thought at the end of the day he did it. You would think so because his eyes were blotchy cherry red.Hmm! I thought,he owes me a massive apology!
