Rules of Participation & Eligibility

1.  Choose the classes you are interested in. If there are classes that you are not sure if you are interested mark them also. We will only contact you for the classes that you mark. (Feel free to mark the top box to be contacted for all classes)

(a)  To qualify for Star program banquet you must participate in only one 8 hour class. To qualify for Star program prizes you must participate in one 8 hour upgrade and one 8 hour safety class. To qualify for the grand prize drawing you must have taken welding or currently be taking welding through our program.

(b)  All Weekend classes are 8 hour credits. If Weekday evening classes are given they will only be a 4 hour credit per night. Welding class qualifies for both 8 hour portions of the Star program and participants are eligible for the Grand prize. Most upgrade classes are given at our Lyons facility while most safety classes are given at CCSC in Hillside.

(c)  Classes taken the previous year are not eligible for 2011 Star credit. You are welcome to take the class again but an additional class must be taken to receive credit. This ensures that our journeymen are receiving a wide range of training.

(d)  Beginning in 2011 if you have NOT taken the welding course you will not be eligible for the Grand Prize. Enroll now for future qualification. If you have previously taken the welding class through OUR program (company programs excluded) you are free to choose any of the other classes to qualify.
