Job Title: Design Channel Account Manager

Reporting to: VP Brand Engagement

Manage: Lee Jofa Account

Support: Designer and Painting Contractor Sales & Education

The purpose of this role is to assist in the management and development of the sales of Farrow & Ball products in the USA through Lee Jofa and to the trade channel. The Design Channel Account Manager will represent Farrow & Ball as a brand ambassador to the Architect and Designer community, while driving specifications of Farrow & Ball products, supporting holding a “hard spec” approach at job site. The role will facilitate operational efficiency and achievement of sales plan, account management & development, training on brand & product specifics, marketing activity coordination, and ensuring all Farrow & Ball display and brand touch points follow brand standards.

Summary of Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 Meet and exceed Sales targets for the designer channel  Collaborating closely with the Lee Jofa team in order to ensure Farrow & Ball is positioned with Lee Jofa and its personnel to effectively maximise sales of its products.  Assist in preparing detailed plans for each Lee Jofa showroom, agent and designer outreach, including activity plans to ensure goals are achieved.  Review and analyze sales and implement appropriate steps to increase sales and maximise sales profitability.

1  Share and review monthly and quarterly sales reports to Lee Jofa in requested format.  Travel extensively, visiting, evaluating, providing coaching to each showroom, agent and road rep to ensure Farrow & Ball is being represented to required standards.  Ensure Farrow & Ball display materials are the best-in-showroom, maximising the allotted Lee Jofa space to enhance and elevate the Farrow & Ball brand which will include overseeing basic stock packs, ensuring all required Farrow & Ball materials are available and accessible.  Train new and existing Lee Jofa showrooms, agents and road rep staff on all product offerings i.e. product training and colour training;  Manage any Farrow & Ball marketing events, or new product introduction, specific to the Lee Jofa universe of corporate showrooms, road representatives and agents.

Trade Accounts/Book holders:

 Review the current accounts in the region on an ongoing basis to maximise sales opportunities.  Visit accounts to ensure excellence in product knowledge, ordering procedures and display and merchandising standards.

The job holder needs to have exceptional colour knowledge and interpersonal skills and be able to communicate, present, train and sell across all contractor, architect and designer channels.

Key Skills/Experience

 Strong knowledge and expertise working with interior designers and architects and building those relationships  Proven track record of achieving sales goals as an account manager  Ability to work under pressure and prioritise  Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal  Previous experience with luxury/high end products/brands  5 + years Interior Design and

2  5+ years Trade or Retail Sales Experience  Willingness to travel for extended periods if required  Ability to work both with a team and independently  Preferred candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree  Strong Analytic Skills
