Materials and surfaces:
Liquid contact steel parts are made of stainless steel (e. g. hopper, cover, pump and pump head).
Mild steel pars are painted light grey as per RAL7035.
Piston diaphragm pump and motor are painted orange as per RAL2003.
Gear pump and motor are not painted.
Standard version:
- piston diaphragm pump with 3-phase AC motor and manual piston stroke adjustment
- double diaphragm piston pump with 3-phase AC motor and manual piston stroke adjustment
- gear pump with 3-phase AC motor
- analog weighing system
- electronical pressure switch (standard for gear pump)
- hopper volume 6 dm³/50 dm³
- hopper and pump mounted on base plate
- cover with inlet pipe and vent screw (depending on the liquid, a suitable suction system above the vent screw has to be provided on site)
- cover with handle for manual refill (depending on the liquid, a suitable suction system above the cover has to be provided on site)
- pockets for fork lift
- junction box for load cell with built-in weighing signal amplifier
- junction box for motor
- permissible counterpressure max. 40bar/60bar (depending on feed rate and pump type)

Accessories / special versions:
- ATEX II 2G/2G
- electronical pressure switch (optional for diaphragm piston pump)
- pulsation damper with Viton/PTFE membrane incl.
filling unit
- refill valve, pneumatically actuated, with/without limit switch (open/closed)
- manual pump to remove residual liquid. An additional nozzle is necessary on the cover (no retrofit possible).
- drip pan made of mild steel/stainless steel to be provided on site

Heating:
- double walled design feeder and pre-bin for heating by a heat transfer fluid (temperature control unit to be provided on site – max. permissible inlet pressure: 0.5 bar)
- electrical heating feeder and pre-bin to maintain a constant liquid temperature*** (only for use in non explosion hazardous areas)
- heating circuit for the hopper (and the refill valve, if any) with temperature controller and relays
- heating circuit for the pump head with temperature controller and relays
- control box to be mounted on the feeder (see separate item)

Special features (heating):
- add. heating circuit for connecting hose (liquid feeder-extruder) on site
- additional temperature sensor in the hopper (PT100)
- product temperature monitoring in the hopper incl. display
- add. heating circuit for refill valve (electrical heated, only in combination with refill valve)
*** The liquid to be metered must be heated up to the necessary operating temperature before being supplied to the feeder.

Remarks:
- Subject to examination and appraisal of a sample of the liquid to be metered. We reserve the right to change the feeder design, which could cause additional cost.
- For refills, the liquid must be supplied to the feeder bubble-free. Make sure that the liquid does not contain any solids.
The feeder must be mounted vibration free. The counterpressure specified in the
list of characteristics of the liquid (taking into account any pressure losses in tubes on site) must not be exceeded.
Maximum turndown ratio:
- 10:1 by electrical pump speed control
Remark to piston pumps: Depending on the characteristics of the liquid to be metered, the piston stroke is manually adjusted to the respective feed rate range.
