(Update on a walking tour and what it would entail to get an app HPH walking tour is outdated on the spot is in Vancouver. Kevin suggested a beacon for walking tours. Martha will continue to investigate. Would be nice to have ghost tours for the month of October Kendra to contact Martha regarding ghost tours)

Marketing report Year end report on filming, outreach to social media to add properties to the list for filming. Jan 13th meeting with OPG regarding Westleyville site for Cinaspace film Studio, 401 Signs coming out of the Capitol Budget pending approval. MTO to change signs. Strat Plan for a Waste facility of excellence Durham College will be doing an organics/waste management will include a report Another lot has sold (conditional) at the Industrial Park that is 5 out of 12. Salmon Migration would like to make into a festival MNR? GRCA Bree and Robert attended a meeting. Visitor Guide and media kit near completion metroland sells the ads for the guide. Jeannie working to plan 150 events. Website development for library. Cleaning contract was awarded to Hill County Landscaping.Delicous Dates will starts in January will be on website.
Chamber January 26 Lunch and learn series $10 tower of Port Hope. AGM is Feb 1 11:30 at Capitol Theatre Sculthorpe room. Business Excellence April 29th Next fundraising trip is to Ireland in October $2800

Events/Beautification
Wreaths looked great this year received many compliments on the new look. Parks department found them easier to put up which saved valuable time. Banners are printed and we are awaiting weather to install them. Events: Port Hope unfortunately was turned down for some Canada 150 funding there will still be things happening and there are still some grant applications outstanding that may be approved. Float your Fanny committee are looking for sponsors for 2017 race they will be adding a 150 component to the race. If we are going to do anything please let them know so they can help promote. Jazz festival has been postponed.
Council report
CFFM was not approved for money from the municipality. Robert received 25 emails only one in support.
Conversation took place about the municipality buying the Canadian tire building however it wouldn’t be a sound investment at this time.
Chair report Micheline requested Jamie send out the Procedural manual AGM went very well membership passed budget and it has been forwarded to the finance Department. Heart of Town window clings how does everyone feel? Was voted to go ahead and purchase the window clings Jamie to take care of. Was suggested we do a survey regarding events do the membership want them? Gary will help Jamie write a survey to send out. Robert and Gary to do a survey regarding increase/decrease of business. Alex is going to send out press release regarding Heart of Town. Just a reminder to include Jamie in emails so she is always kept up to date.

New Business
Canada 150 events pairing with Archives put old pictures in all the windows of each building with a history Kendra will spearhead a group for these events
Letter of support for the Capitol Theatre Kendra brought facts and explained how the ticket sales and actors get paid very informative. After much discussion Kendra made a motion to send the letter in support Alex 2nd passed in a 4/1 vote. Robert recused himself from this vote.
