Our mission is to raise awareness of under- and misrepresentation of the Asian Diaspora in the German media. Each film will be followed by a common discussion aiming to unpack these issues and aesthetics from inter- Asian-diasporic / BIPoC perspectives – engaging with these films (as artistic productions, social commentary, and political texts) foregoing the usual Western lens of white critique and exoticism.
