INTERNATIONAL TRIPS AND EXCHANGES 2019-2020 July 2019 DEAR PARENTS AND STUDENTS, We continue to inspire our students to become globally responsible citizens by providing international trips and exchanges. Ash- bury trips develop cultural competence and provide opportunities for students to learn about their world through service, adven- ture and experiential learning. We are delighted to share the opportunities available to our students during the 2019-2020 school year. Trip leaders for international trips will continue to promote and share information about trip destinations at Assembly, in Ashbury weekly newsletter and in classes. There is the potential for cultural and ser- vice experiences on this trip as well. Students may spend some of their stay in Bermuda as billets with students from partici- pating high schools. This trip is open to both current and new competitive swimmers and there are only 26 spots allocated.
