Having the chance to interview one of the great seniors of Hurricane High School, Kelbie Dayley. When asked if she seems to be giving up on school she quickly stated YES! Kelbie says she does not even show up any more. All motivation to do a good job is gone and she just doesn't really care anymore. I also asked her to give a emoji to describe how she feels. She told me it would be the rolling eyes emoji. I also interviewed Mr. Cahoon. I asked him if he felt like seniors are giving up and he told me, that he feels some are but not all of them. “It's not that they are giving up it is that they don't work hard any- more.” I asked him to give some advice for the seniors and Mr. Cahoon advice was, “This is just the beginning not the end...at least those that are planning to go to college.” So seniors dont stop working, endure to the end. Only one more month and you will be opening the door to real life. 1 1 Student Life What is Next Aft er High School?
