SIMON BLANCHFLOWER The £4.5bn Network Rail Thameslink Project Director, Infrastructure Programme is a key Thameslink, component of the overall £6.5bn Network Rail Thameslink Programme. Work on key output 1 finished in 2012 with the opening of the upgraded stations at Farringdon and Blackfriars and the IAIN SMITH introduction of 12 car trains on the Programme Director, Bedford to Brighton route. Thameslink, Siemens The focus is now on London Bridge: re-building the station, re-configuring track and signalling to provide additional capacity with a segregated route for Thameslink. This is supplemented by KEITH WALLACE power supply upgrades, fit-out of the Head of Programmes, canal tunnels that link the area with GTR the East Coast Main Line and the deployment of ETCS and ATO for the core area.
