Like the previous game against FC Motown, chances were at a premium in the first half. Atlantic City FC scored on their lone shot attempt to make the halftime score 1-0. The game began to open up in the second half as both teams recorded shots at a faster pace. FC Monmouth was able to tie the game in the 64th minute, as forward Jacob Rubinstein intercepted a pass from the Atlantic City FC goalkeeper as he tried to clear the ball.
