Wool on the Hoof Judge: Mr. Peter Bull (There is no entry fee for these classes) Class 45 Long Wool Class 46 Short Wool To be judged from sheep drawn from the preceding classes. Only one entry per exhibitor per breed. Sheep will be judged unshorn, and should be in a state demanded by their flock book. CATTLE All Cattle Classes depend on the number of exhibits. Bull ages are calculated from the show Date. Dexter Judge: Adrian Park All males up to the age of 12 months on show date may be shown on their birth notification number. All males over 12 months on show date must be shown on their pedigree registration 'M' number. The Supreme Champion will be eligible for the Dexter Society Silver Spoon. YOUNG HANDLERS – PIGS Judge: Charlie Bull Class 108 Young Handler aged 8 – 11 years Class 109 Junior Stockperson 12 – 14 years YOUNG HANDLERS – GOATS Judge: Mrs Ella Kingston Class 110 Young Handler aged below 10 years Class 111 Young Handler age 10 to 14 years Please note: Dress code should apply to all YH classes Please be sure to state name of Young Handler and animal on entry form. Young Handlers are to handle one animal entered (or eligible for entry) in one of the above showing classes. Judging will be the manner and ability to handle and show Sheep, Pigs, Cattle and Goats and not on the conformation etc. of the animal. Best Young Handler Cattle & Sheep trophies to be awarded to the first prize winners The Best Goat Young Handler trophy for classes 110 and 111 will be judged in the Goat ring following the Goat classes.
