Return Policy: The Vermont Wine Merchants Company understands that it is the nature of the business we are in for there to be damaged or corked bottles of wine and will gladly issue a credit for such. However, once the wine leaves our facility, storage conditions are out of our control and we cannot issue a credit for damaged or corked wine that is 6 months past the date it was sold. Product that is unwanted or refused must be returned to The Vermont Wine Merchants Company within two weeks of the invoice date for a credit to be issued. The returned product must be in the same condition it was sold to obtain full credit. **Please Note** Closeout or Deeply Discounted wines are non-refundable If you have a specific circumstance, please contact office directly at 802-658-6771 Returned Check Policy: Due to recent changes in bank policy, if a check is returned for insufficient funds and a replacement certified or bank check cannot be provided the week the original check was returned, the Vermont Wine Merchants Company reserves the right to charge the account a $30 return check fee, which will be added to the account’s next invoice. If the check is returned more than once for any reason, and a replacement certified or bank check has not been issued, we will place the account on hold until payment has cleared.
