Tony Lowe worked for many years as a session and gigging musician, playing in bands and recording all over the world. He moved into Production in 1988 when he formed Tony Lowe Productions in Ealing, London. During this time, worked with upcoming new artists and musicians to develop their material and was able to help many of them to get interest from publishers and record labels, going on to produce albums and singles in many other studios. Tony was also playing sessions with various artists and Producers at studios around London and was an in house session player at Trident Studios during the early eighties. Tony started writing music seriously in 1990 when he started work on the concept album and live event. ‘All of the Above’. In 2011 he joined forces with Cheryl Stringall to form sunn creative. A record label and media production company and is now an in-house Producer and Creative Director. Tony produced three albums for sunn creative since 2013 and co produced Simon Townshend’s ‘Denial album’ and the ‘Starlight-Starless’ album for David Cross. Bram Stoker’s new album, ‘Cold Reading’ also produced by Tony, who played guitar bass and programmed drums, has been well received by critics worldwide and is fast becoming one of the talked about prog albums of this year. Human Sleeping ‘Dreams 1 to 8’ is the new album from Tony and Alison Fleming. “‘Human Sleeping’ takes the listener on a moving and uplifting journey through the unconscious mind during sleep, with a ghostly, haunting beauty, woven throughout by Tony’s distinctive and heartfelt guitar, overlaid with Alison’s sublime ‘clear-water’ vocals and eclectic lyrics. Human Sleeping can be seen as a reflection of the way humanity seems to be slumbering through some of the most profound changes in modern life. As a shadowy glimpse of an unseen world, it is a mysterious, dreamlike, atmospheric Prog Rock tour de force.” Currently producing the new Chris Gray album and writing and producing a new album with David Cross.
