For the parish, we’ve had our parish fete and garden party and had a great time. I’d like to thank most sincerely our Parish Pastoral Council who have put in so much work to ensure its success. Thank you also to our many parishioners who came along and supported the event. For the community in the monastery, there is great rejoicing as Br Peter Morris CSsR made his Final Profession, telling us all that he will live the rest of his life as a Redemptorist. At the 12 noon mass this Sunday Bishop Ralph Heskett CSsR will ordain Br Peter as a Deacon. Many of you know Bishop Ralph, as he is your former Parish Priest! He was also Br Peter’s Postulant Director some years ago when he began his formation. So today is special for us all. Peace!
