The Principal’s Report – Major activities during 2018- 19 1. HARIYALI MAHOTSAVA was organised from 1st August 2019 to 20 August 2019. 15 Tree guards were provided by college staff and more than 50 plants were planted in the college campus. 2. Two days INDUCTION PROGRAM was conducted for newly admitted students. 3. SADBHAWANA DIVAS was organised by NSS unit. 4. Oath program was organised on constitutional day. 5. Yuva sanvad program was organised in the college. 6. Women Empowerment Programme. A woman empowerment rally was organised by the Women Empowerment Cell of the college in collaboration with the NSS Unit. Overview- (i) Vision, Mission and Objectives of the college VISION: The development of the college in such a way to cater to the need of the students by providing them quality education MISSION: To make students socially economically and academically strong to achieve excellence in life OBJECTIVES: To prepare students face the challenges of life and to encourage the students to become good human being so that they can enrich the society with good values (ii) Brief introduction of the college (including the status (Govt. / Lead/ Constituent/ Affiliated/ Private),Parent University, UGC recognition, CPE status, etc), location & campus area The Government College, Kaytha is situated in tarana tehsil of Ujjain District. It is 30 KM from Ujjain and 14 KM from Tarana. The college started functioning in July 2018. It is an undergraduate college BA and BSC are taught at graduation level. At present there are 260 students studying in both the discipline. The college does not have its own building and it is running in the building of govt. higher secondary school Kaytha. It is affiliated to the vikram university Ujjain and recognised under 2f and 12b of ugc act. It is located on dewas Kaytha road. (iii) History of the college with significant milestones Govt College Kaytha started in the year 2018. A college is catering to the needs of poor and rural students who can’t go for higher education in big cities. The staff of the college is providing best education to the students with limited resources. Students are encourage to participate in all the academic, curricular and extra-curricular activities as directed by the higher education department Govt of Madhya Pradesh.
