Rough Triangle between Oswestry, Whitchurch, Wrexham and Nantwich. Search by Road only in 2 landrovers. Reason:- Pilot (Mr Marsden) was expected to clear himself from Hawarden airport he did not. Little information was available and a very frustrated and tired team was called off the search at 09:00 on the 10/7/66 when Mr Marsden phoned in to say that he had landed at another airfield (Private) altogether.
