You are welcome to come and look inside and it’s FREE! During the first part of the afternoon the volunteers will be milling flour and you will be welcome to take home a sample of the flour which is the first to be produced at the mill for over 100 years. The mill is a working machine as well as a building so some surfaces may be greasy and there may be splinters. Care has to be taken as there are low beams and trip hazards. Due to lack of space the number of people allowed upstairs at any time has to be limited so you may have to wait. For those that are unable to climb the steep stairs we hope to show, on the ground floor, a video of the upper parts of the mill. This has been made possible by a grant from Stantonbury Parish Council and a contribution from MK Museum. We hope you will enjoy your visit.
