SEAFOOD SUNDAY From 6pm ʘ Smoke Free air-conditioned bar Coffee @ The Dog ʘ Bottle Shop Page 4 www.windellama.com.au Windellama News - July Goulburn Pam Tippett’s exhibition Regional The new exhibition, entitled Pam Tippett a Survey Exhibition, features recent still lifes as Art Gallery well as a selection of earlier works including interiors, portraits and drawings. 2013 ARCHIBALD PRIZE REGIONAL TOUR She has been living in the Goulburn district for An Art Gallery of New South Wales exhibition the last 10 years and is known for her beautiful toured by Museums & Galleries NSW still life works as well as her landscapes and portraits. She was selected as a finalist for the Archibald Award in 2011 with a self portrait. Curator Angela D’Elia said the two things that immediately strike the viewer of Pam Tippett’s art works are that she is a perfectionist and she has the enviable skill to satisfy her perfectionism. Along with the many still lifes in this exhibition are also a number of self portraits, interiors, drawings and nudes. The drawings show Tippett’s excellent skills as a draftsman - the light-filled rooms of her interiors have attractive details and colour schemes. There is much to admire and praise in the work of Pam Tippett and it is an exhibition which should fascinate its viewers. For more information contact the Goulburn Regional Art Gallery on 4823 4494.
