Overall, I have to say "meh" for this new direction, and that's even without considering how problematic this volume is because of the fact that it doesn't bother to tell a coherent story. This was also a soft introduction to Kyle. This book is Kyle Rayner's book and it has that sort of Star Trek kind of feel.
