Ďalšia písomná zmienka týkajúca sa územia dnešnej Liptovskej Osady je z roku 1340, v listine [[Karol Róbert|Karola Róberta I.]], v ktorej urč oval chotár [[Ružomberok| Ružomberka]] až po pustovň u nachádzajúcu sa na sútoku rieky Lúž ňanky a Revúcej.<ref>Šípka, E.: Kto je kto v Liptovskej Osade</ref> cs: Území obce bylo osídleno již na př elomu 11. a 12. století. Tehdy zde vznikla [[Řád svatého Benedikta|benediktinského]] poustevna (zmi ň ovaná jako goth, boží domky), kolem které postupně vyrostla osada. První písemná zmínka o ní se datuje roku 1288. Další písemná zmínka týkající se území dnešní Liptovské Osady je z roku 1340, v listině [[Karel I.
