The MVP Award was originally announced as an annual one with prize amount of X2.00,00% . However, certain constraints made the university to alter it as a biennial event with x2.00,00% . Recently the university syndicate reconsidered various aspects and decided to change Prof Pylee Award again to an annual event from the year 2015, with the prize of 1.00,000/- It is well-known that the prestige of an award depends mainly on the reputation of its recipients. I sincerely believe and earnestly hope that the distinguished personalities who will be sending their nominations may kindly apply their minds to nominate the most gifted and talented teacher, who is/was an asset to the institution and to the profession. I take this opportunity to thank Prof Pylee for his noble gesture instituting this award, which will go down in the history of teaching profession in our country.
