The building is the headquarters of Griff on Football and also serves as the summer home of the Kansas City Chiefs. This state-of-the- art facility which houses the endeavors of the science and mathemati cs departments was built with a $5,000,000 gift from St. Joseph residents Wes & Patsy Remington. The gift is the largest in University history. Right: Dreams became reality for the Griff on Soft ball and Baseball teams as the Griff on Spring Sports Complex was dedicated in April 2011. The complex which is located on the northeast side of campus features ample seati ng, state- of-the-art press faciliti es, scoreboards, surround sound, ample parking and professional style dugouts. It was the fi rst ti me in the 41 year history of the program that baseball was played on campus. Above: With enrollment at an all-ti me and the demand for on-campus housing higher than ever, ground broke in late summer 2010 on Griff on Hall which will be located to the south of Scanlon Hall. Griff on Hall will feature 250 beds in apartment style units. Each apartment will have kitchen faciliti es and four private bedrooms. The hall will also feature a workout room and a community lounge.
