In a season cut short by the coronavirus, Chun’s team put together many highlights including four top-5 team finishes: the Golden Bears placed second at the MacKenzie Invitational, fourth at the Southwestern Invitational and fifth at both the Tav- istock and Lamkin San Diego Classic. Meanwhile, junior Finigan Tilly placed in the top five in back-to-back tournaments and had three top-20 finishes overall. Chun took his first team to the NCAA Championships in his current role in 2019 and participated in his eighth NCAA’s over- all. The Golden Bears finished 10th overall in their first appear- ance at the NCAA’s since 2016 for their highest finish since Chun was the associate head coach for a pair of teams that reached the semifinals of match play at the 2012 and 2013 NCAA’s.
