By Perry Nelson Well here I sit, finally at the computer! I’ve been trying to get our “Sonya Trike” (ST) a tribute bike to our disabled daughter, finished in time for the Torch Ride. The ‘Torch Ride 2014’ is a motorcycle run put on by Chester’s Harley Davidson, Arizona Law Enforcement , Walmart and Phoenix Bike Fest that benefits Special Olympics Arizona (SOAZ) athletes. On April 5th during bike week here in Arizona, the Torch Ride starts at Chester’s Harley Davidson and with a police escort, goes to Wild Horse Pass (Phoenix Bikefest). Wish us luck in getting the Sonya Trike done in time for the Torch Ride! > that’s right I said us > just like us at QT Magazine > Traci and I work together at building and modifying Motorcycles. This one (ST) is particularly special because it’s for our daughter and all severely disabled kids and adults. Fisher passed away in March while at Daytona Bike Week. He will be sorely missed. If you’ve had anything to do with motorcycling in California over the past 40 years you have either seen or met Harry Fisher. Harry held the world record of 22 men on one motorcycle that stands today and the Motor Corps always captivated the crowd.
