Meeting Closure Page 3 PRESIDENT’S REPORT SANDY MENZIES t has been another amazing year of accomplishments for Newport SLSC. Each year seems to build on the one before, each seems to just keep getting better and it has been an honour to be a part of that momentum. We started the pre-season run up with a Isuccessful gear inspection and then the return of our Annual Basin Camp for our younger members from under 14’s to cadets, and their young adult mentors. This is a fabulous way to start the season, and a good time was had by all. Suddenly patrols were off to a flying start, and there were carnivals at our beach left, right and centre – all handled with the calm, get it done attitude that our club masters, thanks to Sandy Menszies with her daughter Jess at our our willing volunteers.
