Lynden is the major sponsor of this event. The thirteen Jr. Iditarod competitors, listed below will race to Yentna Station where they will overnight. Then on Sunday, February 24th, teams will leave in the order they arrived and race to the finish line on Willow Lake. The race course is approximately 150-miles. The winner of this race will have the honor of leaving 4th Avenue in Anchorage, Alaska on March 2nd wearing the 2013 Iditarod Honorary Musher Bib #1.
