Reporting Period: October 1, 2018 – December 31, 2018 1.1 Executive Summary The Feed the Future Tanzania Mboga na Matunda Activity (FTFT-MnM) is a four-year initiative (January 2017-January 2021) funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The purpose of FTFT-MnM is to increase the productivity and profitability of horticulture value chains while integrating large numbers of women and youth and improving the nutritional status of Tanzanians. Scaling market system models that serve as platforms for technology scaling, while enabling women, men, and youth to access resources needed to improve productivity and profitability. Strengthening the overall capacity of the horticulture subsector through investments all along the value chain. The geographic scope of FTFT-MnM encompasses 16 districts in the mainland within the Southern Agricultural Growth Corridor of Tanzania
