my report to members. Our on field performances during the home and away series were outstanding with both sides finishing on top and the Club winning its third consecutive Gary Gilchrist Trophy. Certainly as President of the Club I share the frustration of members after our Senior side again lost in a preliminary final but as a Club we are committed to again give ourselves an opportunity of winning our next Senior Premiership and we can only achieve such a goal if we can again finish top 4 in 2011. I have full confidence in the coaching staff at the helm of our club. I would like to commend our Football Department for their efforts in 2010 – coaching staff Peter German, Adam Potter, Todd Clark, David Bourke, Ross Fisher and Luke Boyd. Brendan Curry and Chris Dixon expand in greater detail in their respective reports on our football results/community and development initiatives which the Williamstown Football Club undertook during the 2010 season. The VFL competition continues to evolve and improve with all clubs involved in a highly competitive environment.
