Port Klang ▪ Shorter travelling time by rail from Port Klang – Bangsue takes 60 hours while sea transport takes 5-7 days. 12 12 SHUTTLE TRAIN SERVICE BETWEEN JB SENTRAL – WOODLANDS, SG ▪ introduced on 1st July 2015 with 14 trips daily ▪ Current frequency 26 trips daily ▪ Distance of 1.1 km ▪ 5-minutes journey compared to 30-60 minutes by road on Causeway ▪ Train capacity: 320 pax ▪ Average daily passengers: 5,900 pax ▪ Fare: ▪ Towards SG: MYR5. ▪ Towards MY: SGD5 ▪ Current status: under negotiation for frequency increase to 36 trips daily 13 13 Cross Border Railway Arrangement INTERNATIONAL ENTRY POINT : RANTAU PANJANG [NORTHEAST] • Effective from 1st January, 1954 • Terms on: i.
