ORDER, NO. 17 OF 1917, BY THE HIGH COMMISSIONER UNDER 'ARTICLE. 16A-.: ' WHEREAS by Article 16A of the Palestine Orders in Council, 1922 to 1939, the ,High Commissioner may, if he thinks fit, by order under his hand to be published in the Gazette, convert such land in Palestine of the category termed "Miri" as may be described in such order, into land of the category termed "Mulk"; Now THEREFORE, I, GENERAL SIR ALAN GORDON CUNNINGHAM, K.C.B., D.S.O., M.C, High Commissioner for Palestine, in exercise of the powers vested in me as aforesaid, do hereby order that the parcel of land now of the category termed "Miri" and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be converted into the category of land termed "Mulk", and shall be registered accordingly in the Land Registry of Tiberias. WHEREAS by Article 16A of the Palestine Orders in Council, 1922 to 1939, the High Commissioner may, if he thinks fit, by order under his hand to be published in the Gazette, convert such land in Palestine of the category termed "Miri" as may be described in such order, into land of the category termed "Mulk"; Now THEREFORE, I, GENERAL SIR ALAN GORDON CUNNINGHAM, K.C.B., D.S.O., M.C, High Commissioner for Palestine, in exercise of the powrers vested in me as aforesaid, do hereby order that the parcel of land now of the category termed "Miri" and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be converted into the category of land termed "Mulk", and shall be registered accordingly in the Land Registry of Jerusalem. • SCHEDULE.. IN EXERCISE of the powers vested in me by section 3 of the Cap. 61. Forests Ordinance, I, GENERAL SIR ALAN GORDON CUNNINGHAM, K.C.B., D.S.O., M.C, High Commissioner for Palestine, do here• by proclaim the land described in the Schedule hereto to be a Forest Reserve under the control and management of the Govern• ment. The Schedule to proclamation by the High Commissioner dated 25th March, 1926, and published in'the Gazette No. 161 dated 16th of April, 1926, shall be amended by deletion of Forest Reserve No. 57 Sha'ab Zeit and all particulars relating thereto. The boundaries of the Reserve are demarcated throughout by numbered Rock Marks consisting of iron bolts concreted into rocks and surrounded by a ring painted with cement wash. SCHEDULE. Serial No. : 449. Name of Reserve : Shi'b Zeid (this Reserve consists of the localities Shi'b Zeid and Haraiq Zuhran). Situation : Within the village boundaries of Beitillu, Jammala and Deir Abu Mash'al, Ramallah Sub-District. Boundaries : The boundaries of the Reserve are shown in detail by a green wash on village map of 1 :10,000 scale of the villages Peitillu, Jammala and Deir Abu Mash'al numbered F. 317; copy of the map is lodged at the offices of the Con• servator of Forests. North : Starting from Rock Mark 1/Z situated on the village boundary of Beitillu and Deir Abu Mash'al the boundary proceeds southeast along Shi'b Zeid as far as Rock Mark 2/Z. East : From Rock Mark 2/Z the boundary proceeds southwards along the edge of cultivated land and olive groves of Beitillu village through Rock Marks 3/Z, 4/Z and 5/Z as far as 6/Z situated west of the Wad ez Zarqa. Thence along the western bank of Wad ez Zarqa and along the cliffs overhanging the wadi as far as Rock Mark 7/Z, situated west of that wadi. South : From Rock Mark 7/Z the boundary proceeds north westwards along cul• tivated land of Beitillu to Rock Mark 8/Z, thence the boundary proceeds west• wards along cultivated lands of Beitillu and Jammala to Rock Mark 9/Z, thence north westwards to Rock Mark 10/Z, which is situated oh the boundarv between Deir Abu Mash'al and Jammala Adllages and thence westwards to Rock Mark 11/Z situated on the eastern edge of a path. West : From Rock Mark .11/Z the boundary proceeds northwards along the . eastern edge of a.path to Rock Mark 12/Z, thence north eastwards along cul• tivated lands of Deir Abu Mash'al to Rock Mark 13/Z situated on the village boundary between Deir Abu Mash'al and Beitillu villages.
