This, my family, is a picture of someone not receiving the love of God and what light or revelation makes available for all. This verse makes it abundantly clear that our willingness to practice the love of God found in us must come from a place of personal revelation of its need, not with preconceived ideas of how it is to be received. Let me say it this way, you can’t force the love of God or help people receive it, it must simply be released from the heart. Just like our personal “suddenly” caught us in a position of receptivity, so it happens for all. Unfortunately, we see in this verse that those bound by darkness will not comprehend the light they’re exposed to. Consequently our part is to practice love by believing for their “suddenly” opportunity by praying Ephesians 1:18, The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. This is practicing love behind the scenes; believing the light will come on because again, you can’t force that in anyone’s life and the Father definitely won’t. beginning today say this: Great love happens when no one is watching. September 1, 2020 Today’s word-New King James Version Ezekiel 28:15 //Acts 26//2 Corinthians 9 Today’s word-Street version Proverbs 1 Thought for today I don’t normally start a PFS with definitions but this one is going to be a bit different. I want to begin with the word cancel which means neutralize, negate, nullify, abandon, scrap, scratch or nix. This is actually a very demeaning concept especially when we’re speaking of people. We live in a time where people are being demeaned, degraded and canceled, if you will, for whatever reason whether right or wrong. On the other hand we see the word inclusion which means to include or add to a structure; to introduce or involve in one’s plan or group. What makes this interesting is these two ideologies reveal the character and nature of the two ruling spirits in the universe. God, El Shaddi, the creator of the universe and Lucifer, the anointed cherub who revealed his iniquity by thinking he could cancel God and replace Him as the most high. Honestly, we shouldn’t have to go much further to realize he was the original moron. EZEKIEL 28:15 says, Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. Isn’t it funny, the canceler himself was the first one canceled? beginning today say this: Those who cancel will be canceled. REVIEW GUIDE 1. September 2, 2020 Today’s word-New King James Version Ezekiel 28:15//Acts 27//2 Corinthians 10 Today’s word-Street version Proverbs 2 Thought for today Honestly, Satan has the distinct honor of setting the standard for both deception and stupidity as well as pride and rebellion. Within this angelic being was the twisted idea that he could become what his creator was. As stupid as it sounds, his entire fall was tied to that twisted idea and we aren’t above believing the same idea. We aren’t capable of replacing God and never will be, but that’s a lesson for another day. Let me say this very briefly about angels. They have the ability to make choices but not the authority. Angels were not created in the image of God as we were, but one-third of them chose to go with Lucifer, when he was CANCELED! I’m sure this specific subject goes deeper than I’ve personally researched, but the bottom line is whosoever cancels others will be canceled. In Satan’s lunacy he was delusional enough to think that he was in the same league with his creator. Don’t laugh; when we endeavor to argue or challenge what the Word says we are doing the very same thing. What I want us to see this month is this; if we aren’t wise we will find ourselves doing the same thing as our arch enemy: dishonoring God. beginning today say this: Those who practice deception will be the most deceived. September 3, 2020 Today’s word-New King James Version Ezekiel 28:13-15//Acts 28//2 Corinthians 11 Today’s word-Street version Proverbs 3 Thought for today I am encouraging you to read EZEKIEL 28:11-19. This was clearly a word from the prophet Ezekiel and quite clearly from the Lord concerning Satan. In verses 13-15 we read, 13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. 14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. Here we see a description of Satan by the Spirit of God, revealing his beauty as well as his assignment as worship leader. But isn’t it interesting that even this position of honor was not enough? Honestly, that trait has been passed down from generation to generation; where people begin to see themselves on the same level as their creator. Don’t be silly; it didn’t work for Satan and it won’t work for us. beginning today say this: Don’t be deceived; you’ll never be God. REVIEW GUIDE 1.
