OPEN GALA SHOW SCHEDULE Saturday 9th July, 2016 At Three Counties Showground, Malvern, WR13 6NW Show Secretary: EMMA WILKIN E-mail: [email protected] Mobile: 07967 582216 The Open Gala Show Open to horses and ponies of any breed, any colour and any size. If you have a horse or pony, there’s probably a class for you! There are showing classes across a broad spectrum, dressage tests, and a fun element with the Tipplers’ Challenge. New for 2016 World Breeds’ Ring & Donkey Section This is a Think Pink ‘Diamond’ Show and a qualifier for TSR Horsezone.co.uk regional finals Advanced Entries close on 30th June Entry Fees (unless specified otherwise): In advance - £10 Late and on-the-day - £12 On-the-day entries are CASH ONLY World Breeds The Open Gala Show is a wonderful opportunity to meet competition from across the country. This year we have introduced a section for World Breeds in a dedicated ring. There are classes for individual breeds both ridden and in hand, and a championship, and for UK and Ireland breeds.. Classes will be run using FBS (UK) English rules. World breeds are important to us so, in addition to the regular English seat, we encourage (with relevant disclaimers re headgear) traditional and western riding styles and dress. We have attracted interest and sponsorship from individuals and breed societies across many breeds and hope that this will become a not-to-be-missed date in your annual showing calendar. Each year we shall endeavour to add more classes - so let us know what you would like to see in the future, if you can’t find it this time!
