These hopeful 2007 cinematog- raphers come from 33 different countries around the world to have their master- piece viewed and judged. To be a part of the cinematic vot- ing experience in Michigan, attend the showing at the Vickers Theatre in Three Oaks on Saturday, September 29th at 1 p.m. Its address and contact phone number is, 6 North Elm Street, Three Oaks, MI 269- Cherries 756-3522, which is located approximately 10 miles from Lines the Indiana border. The ticket cost is $8 at the Three Oaks location. The main storyline is to have the fi lmmaker’s fi lm chosen as one of the 12 fi nal pictures that will be watched by moviegoers in 99 cities spanning over three continents: North America, South America, and Europe. These 12 celluloid creations will be show-cased in Three Oaks and Ann Arbor Mich- igan the last weekend in September. The theatre has chosen to show fi lms and host fi lm lete festivals, rather than traditional Boris’s CompRules blockbuster movies, which only Book of just adds to its appeal. To win one of the valuable prizes is the climax of the story, but just being one of the 12 fi nalists is to make movie history in its own right. There were a total of 456 movie entries made this year by the July 31st deadline. On the one big screen in Three Oaks The Prestidigator all 12 fi lms will be shown, each being 12 minutes or less in length. These talented fi lmmakers had to portray their entire story, including introducing characters, the theme, and even in some a confl ict and resolution in this short amount of time. Between Sunday, September 23rd and Sunday, September 30th a blog is available to the fi lmgoers to blog their thoughts on the fi lms. This blog is to encourage audiences to participate more in the pro- cess and enhance the festivals experience even after the movies have ended.
