UPDATED (8.22.2017) Approved terminology associated with Sunnylands historic estate The Annenberg Retreat at Sunnylands is a 200-acre historic estate (400 total acres of property - Grounds) featuring the: historic house(residence acceptable) 25,000 sq ft (designed by A. Quincy Jones) which has two guest wings: Guest Wing East includes: The Yellow Room (favored by Nancy and Ronald Reagan) The Pink Room The Game Room Guest Wing West includes: The Blue Room (favored by Barbara and George Bush) The Green Room The Peach Room Courtyard formerly the service wing Also on the historic estate are three guest cottages labeled by the Annenbergs as Cottage 1, Cottage 2, and Cottage 3 (10,000 sq ft total) see updated names below. The operations building, three greenhouses, and a maintenance building are also located on the grounds. The grounds of the historic estate include a nine-hole golf course (designed by Dick Wilson) and a number of works of art. Adjacent to the historic estate is the Center designed by Frederick Fisher and Partners. It is situated on 15 acres of land of which nine comprise the Gardens designed by The Office of James Burnett.
