Science You are a scienst, responsible for discovering and analysing whatever can be found through the Pegasus Stargates * technology, life forms or cultures. 2t is likely you had some e.posure to the Stargate program before your selecon for the e.pedion, such as through the various technology distribuon eGorts on arth or the military3s Area 51 program. You might be an archaeologist, a physicist, biologist or something else - in fact, you probably have mulple specialies. Pure science backgrounds have blue panels on their uniforms, while technicians have green panels. Security You are responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the e.pedion * you may have been seconded through the Air Iorce or Marines, or perhaps another of the Armed Iorces. You probably have previous e.perience as a member of a Stargate team, or been based at Cheyenne Mountain. Your uniform has black panels. Local You are a human already in the Pegasus Gala.y. Possibly industrial but typically medieval or earlier in development, it might be anything from a simple village to a castle built on an Ancient outpost. Mocal backgrounds can select this opon instead of rolling) the seFlement can be the one you grew up in. 5-6 Uninhabited Planet with a Stargate. You begin on an uninhabited, but human-compable, planet somewhere in the Pegasus Gala.y. 2t may have ruins nearby, whether human, 0raith, Ancient or something else. Ahe Stargate isN somewhere within an hour,s walk, if you pick the right direcon. Drop 2ns can select this without rolling. 7 Wraith Hive Ship. Not the most inving place for a human, especially one in orbit around a planet or "ying through hyperspace between cullings, but there,s a :Cy-:Cy chance this one is instead parked on an otherwise uninhabited planet with a Stargate an hour,s walk away. Ary not to wake anyone up on your way out. 8 Free Pick Anywhere you like in the Pegasus Gala.y. General Perks ATA Gene – 50 CP You seem to have a strong e.pression of the Ancient Aechnology Acvaon geneD enough for Ancient devices to respond to you, which would make you valuable to the Atlans .pedion for this reason alone. ACer this -ump, you may choose to emulate the bare minimum gene se1uences that alien biometric sensors look for in #friendlies$ to reacvate, though you don,t gain any funconality of those genes. 0hether this perk involves actual biology or :at is up to you, but either way it sll won,t help if tech is locked to uni1ue individuals rather than general groups. ATA Natural – 50 CP, requires ATA Gene Ahe AAA gene lets a person use Ancient technology) this perk lets you use it well, straight oG the bat. You can insncvely use psychic interfaces beFer than most other people do even with training - you don3t accidentally :re oG drones by mistake, and Puddle Jumpers respond to you like you,ve had years of pracce * more or less starng you at Sheppard,s level of aptude.
