MOSLEY COMMON IN BLOOM GROUP Part of the RHS ’It’s your Neighbourhood’ scheme E-mail: [email protected] Tel: 07765 693500 What a Performance! Once again, the sun shone for our concert on the Common and those who attended were entertained by a host of local talent including the crowd-pleasing Albert Thomson, Terry Dean, Bolton duo Simpatico and the ever young ‘Young Once’. The inimitable Chonkinfeckle opened the show and at the end of the day the versatile Steve Burton revived the chilly audience with his excellent renditions of Elvis and Frank Sinatra. Young Once from Tyldesley Terry Dean from Ellenbrook Albert Thomson from Garrett Hall, Mosley Common Young talent was well represented by Grace Luisa, from Walkden and 2 finalists from the Wigan Stars talent competition, Matilda Carroll and Tayla Cottam as well as the nine year old ‘Mini Elvis’ Johnny B Goode from Billinge. In addition the Chorlton Cloghoppers entertained us with their energetic dances and the Astley Christian Fellowship took us through their repertoire of singalong songs. Add to all that the old favourites Ellenbrook Steve Burton and Boothstown Brass Band and it really was a variety performance! From Boothstown All the fun of the fair!!
