It is the largest Gothic cathedral and the second largest Catholic cathedral in the world. Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery Together with Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga,the Gallery is considered one of the main luxury shopping areas of the city, with its prestigious fashion shops, cafès and restaurant. Piazza della Scala This Piazza hosts undoubtedly the most famous building lining the square is the Teatro alla Scala, one of the world's most famous theatres Castello Sforzesco (external part + internal gardens) Milan's most famous and much beloved monument - the big Castle is linked to the vicissitudes and dramatic events that the city has been experiencing over the past centuries.
