All accessories, switches, and especially air bag indicator lights must be plugged in before reconnecting the battery or cycling the ignition. Metra recommends MECP certified technicians Dash Disassembly 99-7606 Nissan Titan/Pathfinder Armada 2006-2007 1. Unclip and remove entire panel including radio and climate controls. (Figure A) 2. Remove (4) Phillips screws to remove radio from sub-dash. (Figure B) 3. Unsnap and remove the outer trim rings around A/C control knobs. (Figure C) Note: The small round airbag sticker also needs to be removed from the factory panel and placed onto the 99-7606 radio housing panel (a round (Figure A) piece of double-sided tape is provided in case the factory sticker is not strong enough). (Figure C) 4. Remove (4) T-10 Torx screws from the A/C controls to remove from the factory radio trim panel. (Figure D) INSIDE VIEW - RADIO TRIM PANEL BACK 6. Remove (2) T10 Torx screws from the passenger air bag off light assembly and remove. (Figure D) Note: The small round sticker also needs to be removed from the factory panel and placed onto the 1 3T-10 TORX SCREWS 99-7606 radio housing. 7. Attach the (6) panel clips in the same A/C CONTROL PANEL position as the factory radio trim panel. T-10 TORX SCREWS 4 PASSENGER AIR BAG LIGHT Note: If clips are not provided then 2 1 2 please remove the factory clips and CLIP T-10 TORX T-10 TORX re-use them. HAZARD SWITCH SCREW SCREW Continued on next page (Figure D) 4 Pre-Kit Assembly 99-7606 Nissan Titan/Pathfinder Armada 2006-2007 1. Attach the A/C control to the 99-7606 radio housing using the factory hardware removed in the dash disassembly. (Figure A) 2. Snap the outer trim rings onto the A/C 0 control knobs. (Figure B) 1 2 3 4 A/C 0 R 1 2 R 3 3. Attach the passenger air bag off light MAX A/C 4 assembly to the 99-7606 radio housing R using the factory hardware removed in the dash disassembly. Also, apply to air bag button the small round airbag (Figure B) sticker previously removed in Step 4 dash disassembly. (Figure C) 4. Snap the hazard light switch into the 99-7606 radio housing. (Figure D) 5. Attach the (6) panel clips to the 99-7606 radio housing panel using the 0 1 2 3 factory radio panel as a reference for 4 A/C OFF 0 R 1 2 R MAX 3 clip positioning. Slide the DIN cage into the radio housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs down. (Figure A) 2. Slide the aftermarket radio unit into the cage and secure. (Figure B) 3. Snap the pocket into the radio housing. (Figure C) 4. Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect the negative (Figure A) battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation. 5. Reassemble dash in reverse order of disassembly. (Figure B) (Figure C) 6 Kit Assembly 99-7606 ISO radio provision with pocket 1. Mount the ISO brackets to the radio with the screws supplied with the radio. (Figure A) 2. Slide the radio into the radio opening until the side clips engage. (Figure B) 3. Snap the trim plate into the radio housing. (Figure C) 4. Snap the pocket into the radio housing. (Figure D) 5. Locate the factory wiring harness in (Figure B) the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation. 6. Reassemble dash in reverse order of disassembly. (Figure C) (Figure A) (Figure D) 7 Kit Assembly 99-7606 Double DIN radio unit provision 1. Cut and remove center divider from radio housing. (Figure A) 2 Snap the Double DIN brackets to the inside edge of the radio housing. (Figure B) 3. Slide the Double DIN radio into the Double DIN bracket/radio housing assembly and secure the radio to the kit using the screws supplied with the head unit. (Figure C) 4. Snap the Double DIN trim plate onto the (Figure A) housing/radio assembly. (Figure C) 5. Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation. 6. Reassemble dash in reverse order of disassembly. (Figure B) (Figure C) 8 Kit Assembly 99-7606 Stacked ISO head unit provision 1. Cut and remove center divider from radio housing. (Figure A) 2 Snap the Double DIN brackets to the inside edge of the radio housing. (Figure B) 3. Slide the Double DIN radio into the Double DIN bracket/radio housing assembly and secure the radio to the kit using the screws supplied with the head unit. (Figure C) 4. Snap the Double DIN trim plate onto the (Figure A) housing/radio assembly. (Figure C) 5. Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation. 6.
