While it's beneficial to do that on occasion, Storms makes it to be more of a distraction. As someone who leans Dispensational, I have a greater understanding and appreciation of the Amillennial view although I still believe in a future coming Millennial Kingdom before the New Heavens and New Earth and reject that Rev 20 speaks of the Millennial Kingdom in heaven that is concurrent with the Church Age on Earth. As the title states, a thread that carries through the entire book is Storms' defense of an amillennialist interpretation of Scripture. If he is going to attack a system he needs to attack the best version of it. Though most will doubtlessly disagree with at least a few of Storms conclusions I doubt all readers will be convinced of his partial preterist interpretation of Matthew 24, for instance , it will be impossible to suggest any longer that amillennialism is built upon either a lesser view of the authority of Scripture in particular, or a liberal theological framework in general.
