Since KACF was founded in 2002, we have awarded 245 grants totaling more than $4.7 million to support 62 non- profit organizations that are in the frontlines addressing the most pressing needs in our communities. We are often the first source of institutional funding, particularly for Korean nonprofit organizations that provide critical services with cultural and language competence, and KACF has become an important grantmaker in the Korean American community. Your investment in KACF has allowed us the privilege of working with our grantee partners which has had a positive impact on the lives of thousands of individuals. In addition to being a grantmaker, the Foundation plays a significant role in raising the visibility of our community to the broader nonprofit sector, harnessing the growing philan- thropic power of Korean Americans to find solutions for social challenges, and strengthening nonprofits so they can be more effective in their work. Tonight’s success would not have been possible without the dedication of many individuals, especially the entire Gala leadership. Particularly, we thank and acknowledge this year’s Gala Co-Chairs, Michael Chung and Alex Chi, for their outstanding efforts and accomplishments. Thank you again for being a part of this remarkable evening and for partnering with KACF to empower, strengthen and transform our communities! Sincerely, James Wohn Kyung B.
