Before I could figure out what had happened, the girl in front of me spoke. She had fair skin and long silvery hair, and was draped in a loose white hagoromo. Her ephemeral beauty betrayed a hint of melancholy. I couldn’t tell her age, but she looked somewhat younger than me. This goddess who introduced herself as Eris looked pitifully upon my dumbfounded self with her blue eyes as I stood frozen in place. I realized from her words that I had died.
