It is hereby notified that in exercise of the powers vested in him by paragraph 2 of Regulation 3 of the Hotels (Conditions of Service) Regulations, 1953, His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. Andreas Michael Ombashi to be a member of the Hotels Conditions of Service Committee as from the 8th June, 1954, in the place of Mr. Nicos Theodotou, appointed as a member of the said Committee under Notifi• cation No. 178 published in Supplement No. 3 to the Gazette of the 2nd April, 1953. AKANTHOU (FAMAGUSTA) FUND. In exercise of the powers vested in me by section 17 of the Tree Planting (Village Areas) Law, I hereby establish a fund for the village of Akanthou in the District of Famagusta (hereinafter called the " Fund ") into which shall be paid all fines recovered under the said Law for offences committed within the Tree Planting Area of the village of Akanthou as described in the Order of the Commissioner of Famagusta published in Supplement No. 3 of the Cyprus Gazette No. 3761 of the 3rd June, 1954, under Notification 359. The Fund shall be under the management and control of the Com• missioner of Famagusta for the time being.
