8.2.13 Water resource catchments overlay code49 8.2.13.1 Application (1) This code applies to assessable development:- (a) subject to the water resource catchments overlay shown on the overlay maps contained within Schedule 2 (Mapping); and (b) identified as requiring assessment against the Water resource catchments overlay code by the tables of assessment in Part 5 (Tables of assessment). (2) All provisions in this code are assessment benchmarks for applicable assessable development. 8.2.13.2 Purpose and overall outcomes (1) The purpose of the Water resource catchments overlay code is to protect the following water supply catchments that are wholly or partly contained in the Sunshine Coast:- (a) Cooloolabin Dam and Wappa Dam; (b) Baroon Pocket Dam; (c) Ewen Maddock Dam; and (d) Somerset Dam and Wivenhoe Dam.
