This calf, ^iwf.kZek* uked ,d DyksuM dk tUe gqvkA tUe ds le; which survived for 21 days, was the clone bldk Hkkj 44 fd-xzk- FkkA ;g dVM+h 21 fnu rd thfor of a buffalo named ‘Karan Kirti, having the jghA ;g ^dju dhfrZ* uked HkSal dk Dyksu Fkh tks fd distinction of being the highest milk producer of the Institute. Two more clones of Karan Kirti laLFkku dh mPpre nqXèk mRiknd HkSal FkhA ^dju dhfrZ* were born but died due to premature birth. A ls nks vkSj Dyksu Hkh iSnk gq, ysfdu le; ls iwoZ mRiUu cloned calf of a progeny tested bull 4393 was gksus ds dkj.k mudh e`R;q gks xbZA ,d larfr ijhf{kr born on August 10, 2013. This calf was unique lkaM ua- 4393 ls ,d DyksUM+ dVMk fnukad 10 vxLr] since it was the clone of a bull, which had died many years back.
