An amended constitution to govern the Club will be presented to members for approval at a Special General Meeting prior to the AGM. All positions will be declared vacant and nominations and elections will be held to vote in new, or re elected officers. The Board will have responsibility for the day to day operation of the Club and will be assisted by sub committees comprised of appointed officers. Members are encouraged to attend and become involved in your Club. PRESIDENT’S REPORT PETER PHYSICK After 12 years as your President, I have decided not to stand for re­ election to that position in 2008. It has been an amazing journey and one that holds many lasting and in particular, very fond memories. I hope that I can still make a contribution to the Club in another way and look forward to maintaining a close link where I can. There is no major significant reason why I have come to this decision other than a decade or more is too long for anyone person to hold such a role within a sporting or business environment these days. There are many high quality people at East Coast who can step in and take the Club to a higher echelon than we have been able to achieve so far. Just as we do with our on field personnel, the quest to continually recruit and develop administrators should be an active and dynamic cycle to ensure that we remain at the forefront of our peers within the Sydney AFL Premier League. That day in 1995 seems such a distant memory when I accepted a request from Tony Hill to nominate as his successor for the Baulkham Hills AFC’s 1996 season. It appeared to be a reasonable thing to do at the time with Ben & Tim heavily into junior footy with the Falcons and Laima helping out with the canteen. Even way back then, one of the tasks undertaken was liaison with the Council to secure an additional ground
