(GOLDFIELDS-ESPERANCE) BUSINESS REGISTER • Collaboration and Group formed between Goldfields-Esperance Development Commission (GEDC), Chambers of Minerals and Energy (CME) and 10 Major Goldfields Mining Companies. • MOU Signed between GEDC, CME and Kalgoorlie-Boulder Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KBCCI) • 5 Meetings were held by the Group with the major outcome of those meetings being to increase Local or Regional Content by implementing a Capability Register • The G.E. Business Register was created that included 3 areas, those being • A Capability Register; • A Business to Business Directory; and • A Shutdown Calendar • A “Soft” Launch was held on Monday 12 October 2020 at which the Premier announced the new G.E Business Register.
